High St. No. 21 Formerly W Hall (Butcher)
This is a two storey house and shop dating from the 17th century. It was originally a timber framed building but was given a red brick front and rear extension in the late 18th or early 19th century. The roof is plain tile and the eaves are moulded and dentilled brick. The north gable end of the house is plastered and some 17th century brickwork can still be seen. There is a very broad chimney stack behind the front range.
