Church End No.11

This house was once a house village shop and there is still a post box in the wall outside. It is one of the oldest in the road, thought to be of the 17^th century. This is especially noticeable if you look at the roof of the left roof which is steeply pitched with exposed purlins. On the right is an 18^th century extension. It is of painted brick. Another interesting and unusual feature of the house can be found to the rear of the right block where there is a 17^th century brick and timber frame stair turret.
