Common Road The Dairy Farm
This farmhouse was built in the early 19th century, it has a timber frame. The eastern gable end is weather boarded. The door is central with a moulded wooden frame and leads to the original through passage with the staircase coming off to the left. There is a later extension that can be seen when compared with the earlier photograph. The main barn of the old dairy is also weather boarded and has three bays with tie beams and angled braces to purlins. There were double doors at the front. Both buildings are Grade II listed.
