Little Revel End Farm
The 1851 census records this as having 175 acres. The older name for this farm could have been Menolds or Menolfs on the Hill.
Little Revel End Farm was owned by the Groome family from at least 1829.
The 1829 Copy of Admission of John Andrew Groome states that the Copyhold tenancy of "Ann Peacock Groome, wife of of Thomas Groome, brewer deceased under the will of Daniel Peacock and Ann Taylor".
In 1826 the said Ann Peacock Groome left in her will all lands etc. to John Andrew Groome with a fine for his admission of £210.
Before that, the Peacock family appear to have owned the property.

Hi – Just read your comment about Little Revel End Farm and that you are related to the Groome family how are you related? My wife is also related to the Groomes via her father Kenneth Betts whose father had married a Jessie Groome and her father owned the Groome Brewery in Kings Langley.

Hello there,
Little Revel End Farm was owned by the Groome family from at least 1829:
1829 Copy of Admission of John Andrew Groome.
This states that the Copyhold tenancy of
“Ann Peacock Groome wife of Thomas Groome
Brewer deceased under the Will of
Daniel Peacock and Ann Taylor”
“In 1826 the said Ann Peacock Groome
Left in her will all lands etc to John
Andrew Groome with a fine for his admission
Of £210.”
Before that the Peacock family appear to have owned the property.
Hope this helps! I am a descendant of the Groome family.
Will
