Very Urgent Appeal – Redbourn Village Museum

Our list of Voluntary Assistants is seriously depleted which means that, unless we can recruit some more volunteers we face the prospect of being unable to open the museum on some weekend days next year.

Our valiant rota compiler Alan Lindfield, and his wife Edna, are currently being placed in the unacceptable position of taking on many extra duties filling in gaps in the rota simply to keep the museum open on some days.

Please can you help us? Perhaps you know someone who could help? Our volunteers need not be museum ‘members’ - anyone who can help will be welcomed.

We aim to allocate one afternoon’s duty every two months. You will always be on duty with another voluntary assistant and we are sure you would find the experience rewarding by meeting visitors and learning more about Redbourn’s history from like minded people.

Please phone Alan if you can help his plight: (01582) 792159.

Thank you
